For E-Commerce Businesses, Corona Is An Excuse (Not A Reason) For Slowing Down

Corona has put many businesses on forced vacation… but if you’re in e-commerce and you’re slowing down due to the crisis, you’re making the wrong decision.

For many businesses coronavirus is a reason to slow or stop operations, but e-commerce businesses should be way way UP. (Do you know how many party balloons and party streamers I’ve been selling?)

  1. Retail stores are forced to stay closed. This is a huge, totally unfair government mandated advantage that e-commerce businesses now enjoy.

  2. Internet gurus with courses and YouTube celebrities are probably benefiting heavily from all the increased traffic as people are stuck at home with their phones and computers.

  3. Everyone collectively is probably spending more time and money online, because their options to spend it elsewhere are now illegal.

Finally, remember that every collective DOWN is an opportunity for your individual UP. (A ‘down’ stock market is the best time to buy stocks.)

If you plan to use coronavirus as an excuse, please don’t.

If you’re in direct competition with my e-commerce business, please do.

This crisis will end in the short term, and then it will be clear who continued growing for the long term.
